Stocked Freezer
is located behind the church building on the corner of Matthew’s Alley and West Street. It is open the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 until 11:30. Any families member is welcome to shop with us. On the second visit that person is asked to bring proof of income and valid identification.
The pantry is stocked with: frozen meat, such as ground beef, pot pies, chicken nuggets and deer meat.
Selecting Food
The family member chooses what is needed for their family. We help them by holding their shopping bag and encouraging them. Although we must limit the quantities, most families leave with 5 grocery bags of food, diapers and cleaning products.
Some ask for prayer, others express their thankfulness that we don’t push our religion on them. Workers and families in need are blessed.
We usually need:
Cleaning products, frozen meats, paper towels, kleneex and toilet paper. Canned vegetables, Hamburger Helper, spaghetti sauce and soups are always welcome donations. Please leave them in the church lobby when you visit on Sunday.
